What I teach and How I Teach It

What I Teach.

Power Vinyasa

This yoga style is focused on building a large amount of heat in the beginning of the class/flow in order to sink into the poses towards the second half that will have longer holds and deeper stretch. Typically an invigorating full-body flow where you’ll experience the foundational principles of Vinyasa yoga, set at a moderate to vigorous pace.

Prenatal/Postnatal

As your pregnancy progresses, your body will change along with it. With a custom prenatal flow, it will accommodate these changes while helping to encourage spinal flexion, mobility balance in hips, and breath work, all which will help you at when you reach delivery. You set the pace, anywhere from slow to moderate to vigorous, whatever you decide.

Restorative

A beginner-friendly yoga form, this type of flow blends together the elements of building balance in the body, flexibility and muscle release. This meditative style of yoga focuses on combining yoga postures that open the shoulders, hips and spine while helping you create awareness in your physical body, generating a greater mind-body connection.

Yoga Nidra/Meditation

Yoga Nidra, or Yogic Sleep, is a style of guided meditation that is among the deepest possible states of relaxation, and guides the student to a state between waking and sleeping while they still maintaining full consciousness. This form of yoga is completely passive and relaxed, done by lying on the back as the student becomes systematically and increasingly aware of their internal mindframe by following a set of verbal instructions.
